Breezy Acres Farm is located in the Tracy Grove community of Western North Carolina. Now “officially” a part of the Flat Rock zip code, our farm is situated between groves of apple trees and rolling acres of working farmland.
We grow about 2 acres of mixed vegetables, using intensive farming methods. We focus on the health of our soils, first and foremost, as the guiding principle for how we farm.
We will apply for organic certification in the future, but for now we employ organic practices to manage pests, and mechanical methods for weed control. All of our seeds (with the exception of our own family’s heirlooms) are purchased from non-GMO certified companies we respect and trust.
Join us for opening day of the Flat Rock Farmers’ Market! Thursday, May 4th from 3:00 – 6:00 PM. The market is located behind the shops of “Little Rainbow Row,” just off US 25 (Greenville Highway) in Flat Rock Village. We will be selling our gorgeous lettuces, strawberries, baby radishes, and heirloom garden plants.
